Dr. Ashkan Davary is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon committed to delivering world-class surgical care with personalized, compassionate attention. With advanced training in medicine, dentistry, anesthesia, and complex surgical reconstruction, Dr. Davary elevates every patient’s experience with precision, innovation, and empathy.

Education & Training

A California native, Dr. Davary graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, followed by his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from New York University School of Medicine. Continuing his training at NYU, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency.

Clinical Excellence

Dr. Davary’s clinical expertise includes full-arch implant rehabilitation (All-on-X), intravenous sedation, dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, dental extractions, bone grafting, and sinus lifts. His approach is rooted in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care, with a focus on clinical excellence, comfort, and long-term success.

Home life

Outside of surgery, Dr. Davary values the time he gets to spend with his wife, Michelle, a surgical breast oncologist, and their three children, Adarina, Shayan, and Daniyar. He also enjoys biking, traveling, and exploring new culinary experiences.

Education & Training

A native of the San Joaquin Valley, Dr. Smith earned a Bioengineering degree from the University of California Irvine. He then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry. Continuing his education, he attended Drexel University College of Medicine and Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

Clinical Expertise

Dr. Smith completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he served as Chief Resident. He trained at Hahnemann University Hospital, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed a General Surgery Internship at Temple University Hospital further honing his surgical skills. Combining his commitment to patient care and his extensive training and skill in both medical and dental disciplines, he is an invaluable asset to the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Home Life

Dr. Smith loves spending family time with his wife, a figure skating and Pilates coach, and their two children. In his free time, he enjoys various hobbies, including river rafting and attending baseball games.
